Human resource experts must take into account the particular requirements of the workforce and business when determining the most effective strategy for employee training and development. Ultimately, by developing a knowledgeable and motivated workforce, the best training program will contribute to the long-term success of the company( Gammanpila D D, Kodisinghe K A M S, 2020)
In the Sri Lankan context,( DrRathnayake Y,2022) experts pointed out that inadequate training in public sector employees’ results in poor performance, which has led to economic woes in the country. On the other hand, despite public sector employees engaging in training, reports highlighted that the inefficiency existed in the public sector, such as central, provincial, and local government bodies. proper training methods and should provide adequate training and development in
order to achieve overall goals. In terms of employees, they should be properly
